Yet Another Strange Day
Ask yourself how many people get a front row seat to someone being hit by a taser. Well today I was about as close as I want to get. Once again I was at work, and happened to be in the right place at the right time.
This time it was a person being deported by INS. Apparently he was very unhappy about being sent back. So, when they got to the airport the man resisted hard enough that the police had to be called. And I guess after many attempts to bring the man under control, the police were forced to use the taser gun. I did not see them actually use the taser, but an unmistakable scream was heard from the man afterwards.
I guess you could say it was just another day in airport land. Now to answer some comments from yesterdays post.
1. The man was wearing two gowns so no rear ends were hanging out. But we are still not sure if he was going commando or not.
2. He had his wallet in a little plastic grocery store bag. Thank goodness ’cause I wouldn’t want to imagine where he would store it otherwise.
With any luck…..tomorrow will be more like a normal day at work. One can only hope.
p.s. Just a little footnote. These stories will never appear in your local newspapers, or even on the television. And I think that the reason for that is that there is no blood and guts involved. Remember…….If it bleeds…..It leads!!!

Holy cow, you do have strange days at work!!
